We require service providers that receive personal information to protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, use it only to provide contracted services, and apply appropriate security safeguards.
4. iOS App Data and Device Permissions
The Dahree iOS app sends account, client, appointment, note, financial, transaction, user ID, and push-notification token data to Dahree's servers so that signed-in users can manage their businesses across devices. This information is linked to the relevant Dahree account and is used for app functionality, not cross-app advertising or tracking.
- Notifications: If you grant notification permission, the app sends an Apple Push Notification service device token to Dahree so we can deliver account and appointment notifications. You can revoke permission in iOS Settings.
- Face ID: If you enable Face ID sign-in, authentication is performed by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework on your device. Dahree does not receive or store your facial biometric data.
- Payments: Apple Pay and Stripe may process payment credentials under their own privacy policies. Dahree stores the resulting transaction identifiers, amounts, payment status, and payment-method category needed for appointment and business records.
5. Gmail Integration and Automated Payment Processing
Our platform offers an optional feature that integrates with your Gmail account to automatically detect and process payments from clients. This feature:
- Requires Explicit Consent: You must explicitly opt-in and authorize Gmail access
- Limited Scope: Only processes emails related to payments and appointments
- Secure Access: Uses OAuth 2.0 for secure, read-only access to your Gmail
- Revocable: You can revoke Gmail access at any time through your account settings
- Data Minimization: Only extracts payment amounts, sender information, and relevant appointment details
- No Email Storage: We do not store your email content beyond what's necessary for payment processing
This feature is completely optional and can be disabled without affecting other platform functionality.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Access controls and authentication measures
- Secure payment processing through Stripe
- Secure Gmail API integration with OAuth 2.0
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
7. Your Rights and Choices

- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion: Delete your account directly in the iOS app through Settings > Delete Account, or request deletion by emailing support@dahree.com

After account deletion, we generally delete or de-identify account data within 30 days, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to complete transactions, prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until overwritten through our normal backup cycle.
